Welcome to inspiring music lessons from tutors Olwen Macleod and Daniel Barker. Lessons are both online and in person in the Hull and North Uist areas. We specialise in woodwind and piano lessons and look forward to teaching you!
Olwen Macleod
Olwen is based on the island of North Uist in Scotland where she teaches piano both in the community and online. She teaches piano from beginners through to Grade 8 and Music Theory to Grade 5.
Daniel Barker
Daniel is based in Hull and offers lessons in Piano, Clarinet, Saxophone, Flute, Oboe and Music Theory. He caters for all ages and abilities and is equipped with a purpose build home studio to provide high quality online lessons wherever you are.

What skill levels do you teach?
Our lessons are tailored for everyone from complete beginners starting their musical journey to advanced players refining their performance technique in piano or woodwinds.
Do I need my own instrument?
We recommend students have access to an instrument for daily practice. For woodwinds, we provide guidance on rental options; for piano, any acoustic or weighted digital piano is suitable.
Where do the lessons take place?
Lessons are offered at our boutique studio designed for superior acoustics, or we provide high-quality virtual sessions for those preferring the comfort of their own home.
How long are the sessions?
We offer 30, 45, and 60-minute sessions. For younger beginners, we typically suggest 30 minutes, while 60-minute blocks are encouraged for intermediate and advanced students.
